Join Tacoma Little Theatre and Parks Tacoma at Eastside Community Center for these wonderful dance workshops taught by noted South Sound choreographer Harry Turpin. These 2 hour workshops will consist of running through some techniques and being taught a dance combination from the musical theatre world.

Harry Turpin (he/him) is a nationally recognized director and choreographer with over 20 years of experience across a broad spectrum of theater. His career spans multiple roles, including director, choreographer, performer, coach, teaching artist, writer, and producer. Currently serving as the Board President of Reboot Theatre Company, Harry has directed and choreographed acclaimed productions such as Jesus Christ Superstar!, Little Shop of Horrors, and Fly By Night. His award-winning work includes The Who's Tommy (Broadway World Winner: Best Director & Best Choreographer), Sweet Charity (Broadway World Nominations: Best Director & Best Choreography), Anything Goes (Broadway World Winner: Best Choreography), Guys and Dolls (Broadway World Nomination: Best Choreography), and Becoming More Less Crazy (Winner: Best of the Fest, Seattle Fringe). His direction of Fly By Night earned a Broadway World Winner: Best Ensemble and a Nomination for Best Director, while Little Shop of Horrors garnered the Gregory Award People’s Choice for Best Director and Outstanding Production.
In addition to his regional theater credits, including productions of Ride the Cyclone, The Prom, Sunday in the Park with George, White Christmas, Hair, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Cinderella, Beehive, Once On This Island, The Music Man, and multiple versions of Bye Bye Birdie!, Harry recently celebrated the sold-out premiere of Come On, Get Tappy!, a musical he composed, wrote lyrics for, and co-authored the book, which had a successful debut in Seattle in the fall of 2024.
